Remember how the news of yet another Spider-Man reboot sounded like such a boring, tedious idea at first, and then star Tom Holland brought hope to the project with his brief-but-memorable cameo in Captain America: Civil War?

Well, prepare to get your hopes raised even higher with the new Spider-Man: Homecoming trailer — which might be the most enjoyable Marvel movie trailer in recent memory.

Holland hit up Jimmy Kimmel Live on Thursday — dressed as Spider-Man, along with a hundred other randos also dressed up like Spider-Man, because why not? — to promote the fresh trailer, and the 20-year-old star even threw in a few impressive flips for good measure.

As for the new look at the upcoming movie, it’s hard to imagine a better fusing of indie coming-of-age comedy and good old-fashioned Marvel superhero mayhem.

As Peter Parker navigates the complicated world of high school, he’s also forced with shouldering the awesome responsibility of being a world-class hero with amazing powers.

From having a crush on a fellow student, to having to hide his superhero identity from his best friend, to having Iron Man constantly up in his business, Peter is facing the familiar Spider-Man challenges, only with Holland’s fresh voice and charming wit.

And, as for Spider-Man, he’s got one seriously ferocious foe: A snarling Michael Keaton.

In Homecoming, the Birdman star plays, fittingly, The Vulture — a malicious criminal with a mechanical suit and wings. While it all sounds a little crazy (and maybe like a problem Falcon should really be dealing with), when Keaton threatens to kill “you and everyone you love,” it’s legitimately intimidating.

Zendaya, Donald Glover, Marisa Tomei and Robert Downey Jr. — reprising his role as Tony Stark — co-star.

Spider-Man: Homecoming swings into theaters July 7, 2017.

On Wednesday, Downey Jr. spoke with ET at the Make-A-Wish Wishing Well Gala in Los Angeles where he opened up about shooting the high-flying Marvel flick and had nothing but praise for Holland’s work as our latest web slinger. Check out the video below to hear more.
